not-so-busy tourist retreat is located in a small valley in eastern
Tennessee, approximately 25
miles east of Knoxville, and situated next to the
Little Pigeon River between Sevierville and
Gatlinburg.
It is surrounded on three sides by Pine Mountain,
Shields Mountain, and Cove Mountain, and there are
so many things to see and do. The main
attraction is Dollywood and a number of outlet
malls.
Pigeon Forge is part of
Sevier
County and is loaded with many outlet malls and
music theatres, as well as the infamous Dollywood theme park. Situated next to
the
Great Smoky Mountains (roughly
6,000 feet high),
Pigeon Forge is also graced by the nearby
Pisgah
